Connect TiViMate to IPPlayTV in 13 steps
Install TiViMate
Google TV and Android TV devices get it from Google Play under the name TiViMate IPTV Player. Firestick owners sideload it with Downloader. TiViMate is not made for Apple, Samsung or LG screens, so use IPTV Smarters Pro on those instead.
Add IPPlayTV as an Xtream Codes playlist
Select Add playlist and pick the Xtream Codes type. Fill in the three login details we sent and continue. TiViMate contacts the server, checks the account and reports how much content it found, including channels and, where you enable it, on-demand titles.
Name it and pick groups
Call the playlist IPPlayTV and continue. TiViMate lists every channel group, and you can untick the ones your household never opens right away. Keep news, sport, entertainment and kids groups you actually use. The selection is not permanent, so you can bring any group back later.
Tidy groups further
Open Settings, Playlists, select IPPlayTV and go to Manage groups. Hide groups you skip and move the ones you use to the top. A shorter list scrolls faster and makes the guide far friendlier for anyone who only wants a few channels at bedtime.
Keep the guide up to date
Visit Settings, EPG and schedule updates every 12 or 24 hours. Xtream playlists bring their own guide link, so you never have to paste one. A fresh guide matters around holidays and season premieres, when broadcasters shuffle their schedules.
Correct the EPG time offset
If programmes look too early or late, check the device time zone first, since a wrong system clock is the more common cause. After that, Settings, EPG, EPG sources leads to the source itself; its Time offset accepts plus or minus whole hours, and you adjust until the listing agrees with what is on.
Replay shows with catch-up
Premium users can move backwards in the guide on archived channels and start earlier programmes from the beginning. It rescues a series episode you missed or last night talk show. Archive length depends on the channel, so check how far back it reaches before counting on it.
Record upcoming episodes
Premium also records. Highlight a future programme in the guide and schedule it to internal storage or a USB drive, then find it later in the recordings section. The box must stay switched on, not in deep standby, and each recording uses a stream from your plan while it runs.
Change subtitles and audio
While a channel or title plays, press and hold OK to open the playback menu, then choose the subtitle or audio track option. Available tracks depend on the stream, so many live channels have one soundtrack only. The Android TV caption style menu applies to apps that follow system captions.
Set a parental PIN
In Settings, open Parental control, enable the lock and choose a PIN. You can then lock specific groups or channels so children cannot open them, and protect the settings menu too. On current versions this is a Premium feature, so check your licence status if the option is greyed out.
Turn on Auto frame rate
Auto frame rate sits in Settings, Playback. With it on, the television switches refresh rate for each stream, so 24, 25 and 50 fps material plays without judder. Firestick owners should keep the Fire TV system version of this feature disabled, otherwise the two settings clash.
Tune the buffer
The same Playback page has Buffer size, the amount of video held in reserve. Medium is right for everyday HD. When 4K pauses on wireless, step up to Large or Very large and live with a fractionally slower zap. Only a quick wired connection justifies None.
Decide on Premium
You buy Premium through TiViMate Companion, an Android phone app, choosing a yearly plan or a lifetime licence. A single account unlocks as many as five devices and adds catch-up, recording, multi-view and extra playlists. The price shown differs between countries, so read it in the app before you pay.
Troubleshooting TiViMate: quick fixes for common errors
The playlist fails to load
Confirm the address includes the port after the final colon and that your subscription has not lapsed. Retype the password rather than pasting it; an invisible space at the end is enough for the server to say no.
The guide shows No information
Force a refresh from Settings, EPG and reopen the app. Blank rows limited to a handful of channels usually mean those channels have no published schedule.
Catch-up is missing for a channel
Catch-up needs Premium and a channel that keeps an archive. Look for the archive icon beside the channel in the guide. If it is absent, replays are not offered on that channel. Also check the device clock, since a wrong date hides past programmes.
Films and series do not appear
TiViMate is focused on live TV, and on-demand content only shows if the playlist was added with VOD included, where your version offers that choice. Edit the playlist to check. For browsing a large film and series library, IPTV Smarters Pro is the more comfortable app on the same login.
Multi-view shows only one picture
Multi-view needs Premium, and every window is a separate stream. On the IPPlayTV single-device plan only one can play, so choose a plan whose device count matches the number of windows you want.
Add playlist asks for Premium
Without Premium, TiViMate keeps one playlist only. Either upgrade through Companion, or delete the current playlist before adding another. For several logins at no cost, IPTV Smarters Pro supports multiple users.
A recording is blank or missing
Recordings need free space and a folder TiViMate can write to. Check the recording location in settings and reformat a USB stick the box refuses to read. Make sure the device stayed awake, because deep standby stops recordings.
Guide times jump after a clock change
When clocks change, one guide source can lag an hour behind for a while. Use Time offset in Settings, EPG, EPG sources as a temporary fix, and return it to zero when the listings correct themselves.
Premium asks you to sign in again
Your licence belongs to the TiViMate account, so a factory reset or app update can log the box out of it. Sign in again with the same account. If all five device slots are used, free one before activating a new box.

Common questions about TiViMate
Does buying TiViMate Premium give me any channels?
No. Premium pays for app features such as catch-up, recording and multi-view, never for content. Programming comes from your IPTV subscription, such as IPPlayTV, added as a playlist. Open TiViMate without a service and you see an empty guide with nothing to play, whether or not Premium is active.
Can TiViMate play films and series from IPPlayTV?
It can show on-demand content from an Xtream playlist when VOD is included, but its strength is live TV and the guide. For browsing categories, season lists and resuming episodes, IPTV Smarters Pro is usually more comfortable. Many households keep both apps on the same box, since they read the same IPPlayTV login.
What does TiViMate Premium cost, and where do I buy it?
The only official shop is the TiViMate Companion app on Android phones, which offers a yearly option and a lifetime licence. Yearly pricing has sat at around 10 to 12 US dollars in recent listings, lifetime costs more, and local prices differ. Discount codes sold on other sites tend to get cancelled, so skip them.
How do I watch two channels at once in TiViMate?
Multi-view, a Premium feature, handles it. Play one channel, open the playback menu and choose another to share the screen. Two windows mean two streams, so your IPPlayTV plan must cover at least two devices, or more for a three or four way layout.
Is the TiViMate account the same as my IPPlayTV login?
No, they are separate. The TiViMate account holds your Premium licence and covers up to five devices. The IPPlayTV login supplies the content and applies its own stream limit based on your plan. You sign in to TiViMate for features and add IPPlayTV as a playlist for programming.
Can I use TiViMate free of charge?
Yes. Without paying, you still get live channels, the full grid guide and one playlist, which is plenty for many homes. Premium is optional and adds catch-up, recording, multi-view, parental control and several playlists. Programming always comes from a separate subscription such as IPPlayTV.
Does TiViMate work on phones and tablets?
No. TiViMate targets televisions controlled by a remote. The developer does publish a phone app, but that is Companion, which exists to purchase and manage Premium. Phones and tablets are better served by IPTV Smarters Pro, which accepts your usual IPPlayTV details.
Is Google Play the safest place to get TiViMate?
Yes. Google Play carries the genuine TiViMate IPTV Player for Google TV and Android TV devices. Firesticks have no Play Store, which is why Downloader is used there. Cracked builds advertising free Premium are a bad idea: they may contain malware and tend to stop working with the next update.
Can Premium follow me to a replacement Android box?
Yes. Put TiViMate on the new hardware, go to the Premium area in settings and log in with the account that paid. When five devices are already attached, release one first. Your IPPlayTV playlist, hidden groups and favourites do not travel, so add the playlist again on the new box.
