Install IPTV on Apple TV and iPhone in 10 steps
Open the App Store on each device
On Apple TV, choose the blue App Store icon from the home screen. On an iPhone or iPad, launch the App Store and tap Search along the bottom bar. Apple TV and iPhone keep separate app lists, so plan to download the player on every device you want to watch on, not just one.
Download Smarters Player Lite

Check time zone and parental controls
Guide times come from the device clock, so on iPhone and iPad confirm Settings, General, Date & Time is set automatically. For children, use the Parental Control option inside the player where offered to lock unsuitable categories with a PIN. Apple Screen Time under Settings can also limit which apps a child is allowed to open.
Send a film to the TV with AirPlay

Troubleshooting Apple TV and iPhone: quick fixes for common errors
Channels list but nothing plays
Open the player settings and look for a choice of playback engine. Switching to another option, often labelled VLC or FFmpeg where the app has one, usually solves it, because a handful of streams use formats the default Apple engine dislikes.
The app looks nothing like these steps
You have probably installed a lookalike. Delete it, search again and choose the listing from WHMCS SMARTERS. Your IPPlayTV account is not affected, and the same login works in the genuine app straight away.
AirPlay drops the picture
With AirPlay the phone downloads the film and then relays it over the same Wi-Fi, so a weak signal hurts twice. Moving closer to the router helps, and playing straight from the Apple TV helps more. On the iPhone, disabling Low Data Mode for the home network may steady things as well.
Subtitles are out of sync with speech
Stop the title and start it again, which often realigns the track. If the problem stays, choose a different subtitle file from the menu when more than one is listed, or try another playback engine in the player settings. Timing is embedded in the file, so some sources are simply off.
The App Store says the app is not available
Listings follow the country of your Apple Account rather than your physical location. If you moved and never updated the account region, some apps can be hidden. Search again using the exact name Smarters Player Lite, or ask IPPlayTV support on WhatsApp to suggest another App Store player for your region.
Video pauses when the iPhone locks
Many players stop live video when the screen locks unless they support picture in picture. Keep the display awake while you watch, connect a charger for longer sessions, or hand playback to the Apple TV so the handset is free to lock.
The TV screen flashes black when a title starts
The blink is Match Content doing its job: the Apple TV changes its output mode to fit each title. It only lasts a second or two. If it bothers you more than judder, switch Match Frame Rate off under Settings, Video and Audio, Match Content.

Questions about IPTV on Apple TV and iPhone
Can TiViMate be installed on an iPhone or Apple TV?
No. There has never been an iOS or tvOS edition of TiViMate; it exists only on Android-based platforms. Anything similar in the App Store is made by someone else. How good is Apple TV 4K for streaming IPTV films?

Can I download a film to my iPhone to watch offline on a flight?
Not through the IPPlayTV library, which streams titles rather than storing them for offline use. You need an internet connection while you watch, whether that is hotel Wi-Fi or mobile data. For a flight, save something from a service that offers downloads, and pick up your IPPlayTV series again after landing.
Will the iPad stop the Apple TV if both are playing?
Only on a 1-device plan. Every screen that plays counts as one stream, so with two or more devices on the plan, a cartoon on the iPad and a thriller on the Apple TV run side by side. On the single-device plan, the newest stream takes over, so larger households usually pick the 2, 3 or 5 device option.
Can I keep using an Apple TV HD for IPPlayTV?
It remains a capable HD box. Current players install on it, and FHD or HD films, episodes and channels look good. It cannot output 4K, so 4K titles play at a lower resolution. Connect it with an Ethernet cable for the steadiest playback when several people in the house are online.
